    Description

    This is the first of many portraits that I will list of the extended Markus family of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Davenport, Iowa and other areas.  This woman is identified on the back as "Emma Marcus Dawson" and the picture is dated Sept., 1890.  The photographer was Rugg of Minneapolis.  Most of the portraits have identifications and the last name usually spelled "Markus" rather than Marcus.  This photo is in excellent condition.
