    Description

    This lot contains two cabinet card photos of school children and their teachers. One shows the children and male teacher in front of the school building. In the 2nd photo the children are outside with a rail fence in the distance. Many of the children are bundled in coats or blankets and some are holding metal lunch pails. The photos range in date from ca. 1885 up to 1890. No photographers or locations identified. The name Minerva Becket is written in ink on the back of the first photo. The other mount is blank on the back. Both images have a bit of light soiling and dots of stain, otherwise good condition. Details can be clearly seen in both images.
