    Description

Antique 19th century c1880s/90s original cabinet photograph.  Depicts a group of dapper men and woman in Fine Victorian fashion posing out front of a newly built home.  The men are perhaps oil men for there looks to be an old oil drilling rig in the background but it is possible thet it is an old Windmill base.  No identifying markings or inscriptions but presumably a southern or mid west house for the home is raised to allow for raising water during flood seasons. Worthy of further research.  Regardless a nice example of rural America architecture as well as Victorian fashion.
In Good overall condition.  Image is crisp and bright with gentle wear.  Matting shows soiling and a chip to the top left corner.  Worthy of framing.
    Measures 8” x 6” and 10 3/8” x 8” with the matting.
